Hi Jenson. I am compiling a cookery book for Vauvert Primary in Guernsey and it would be a real coup if you could provide us with your favourite recipe to include in the book. Failing that, perhaps a good luck message which we can print to help with the sales of the book. All proceeds will be going towards funding a French Exchange trip for Year 6 pupils and lots of other trips and equipment for the rest of the school. Many thanks.
Jeremy Gaunt
Dear Mr. Button,
I am the secretary of the Nunney Fayre. This year the Fayre is on Saturday 6th August and we were wondering if by any chance you would be around Frome at that time and if so if you would consent to open the Fayer. we are hoping to have a motor racing themewith contributions from the Walker family, thelare Rob Walker owned his own F1 team and his family still live in Nunney, George Williams, a Nunney resident who ran the Castrol F1 team for many years, Max Cornelius from Rode who hopes to follow in your footsteps and many others. Obviously to have you present would be a huge boost to our event which raises money for the community. We are currently trying to build a bike track for the kids but funds are very tight.
If, by any chance, you could attend we would be extremely grateful. I can be contacted on jeremy_gaunt@hotmail.com.
Many thanks and best regards,
Jeremy Gaunt

Happy birthday to the number one F1 driver! The number may have come off your car, but it is still ‘your number’. Have a fantastic time, and soon you will be back on track to put the number back on the car again! Take care, and blow Lewis awayyyyyyyyyyyy. x

Hi Jensen. My husband & I are keen triathletes (me the girly Sprint distance and he the Olympic distance). We are moving to Guernsey next week. Can you give us any tips or contacts to find training groups on the island – particularly swim training? We know the island is great for running and cycling and look forward to training there. Thanks for your help.
Well it such a pleasure to have Jenson as a Guernsey resident. Us Guerns have to put up with all sorts of rif raf you know!!
I think the chances of me being invited to his birthday bash next week have just been kicked into touch.
If I was invited it would be the best thing that had ever happened to me but then again you can not invite yourself can you. Perhaps I will just keep walking the Guernsey cliff paths and I might end up bumping into him.
I wish Jenson all the best for the 2011 season and hope he enjoys his 31st with or without me.
Dear Jenson,
A message from Frome! You probably know about the ‘Frome Hoard’ of 56,000 Roman coins and your fans here in Frome and Somerset would love you to support the campaign to raise the funds required to buy this fantastic Treasure. The dead-line to raise thousands of pounds is the end of this month and not enough funds haveyet been raised. .PLEASE respond to this because you have put Frome ‘on the map’ and securing this ‘Frome Hoard’ would be so fantastic.
Many thanks from Frome and Somerset Museums and everyone who is backing this campaign.
Charlene
Hi jenson wishing you a very merry Xmas and a prosperous new year for 2011 all my love Charlene Xxx

Hi Jenson, well done for this year. This year I took my 6 year old grandson Kaydn to a very expensive Silverstone to see you and lewis race and he loved it even thou he only saw the cars when they zoomed past. We were on Stowe corner. Kaydn knows all the drivers and you together with lewis are his idols. So why this message? I’m kaydns Grandad and I spoil him rotten when I can. When Kaydn was 7 months old his Daddy, my son was killed in a car accident so as you can imagine I try to do all the things my son may have done with Kaydn. We also go to the golf open nearly every year. Kaydn would really love to meet you and it would make a little boy so so very happy to do so. Please could you make it happen for him. I will travel if I have to just to make his dream come true. He is very special to me and deserves it. We live in Sheffield by the way. Have a nice break and a lovely Christmas. regards, Gary & Kaydn.

Hi Jenson,Qauli 4th could be third if Lewis gets a penalty you give those Red Bulls a run no1 on the podium would be a great finish for your last race of the season. GO GO GO
Charlene
Hi jenson you didn’t do too badly comming in fifth place although it means that you are out of the championship. You were no1 for 2009 and that’s a good thing I’m sure you’ll go on to win more championships in the near future but atleast you can look back at this in many years to come and know that you were no1. And that’s all that matters. One race left to go in Abu Dabi personally I think that you should help lewis out by making sure the other front runners don’t stand a chance so that maclaren can bring the championship home for 2010. I’ll always support you in formula1 and look forward to the next season. Enjoy your last race for this year and have a well desserved break. All my love Charlene xxx
hi jenson, good luck at ABU DHABI babe . this weekend. fingers crossed the car works well, and you get on the podium . luv you loads xxxxxxxxx : )

Hey Jenson, I can imagine your not too happy starting 11th in the race tomorrow and the fact you have those two annoying Germens (Schumacher and Vettel).
Most important tho after listening to the BBC News I’m really sorry to hear about the car jacking you, your father and also Richard Goddard managed to miss.
I’d certainly be asking the FIA after what has happened, is Brazil a safe place to come to for not just you and the team but also the fans too come and see the race.
hi jenson, hope you and your dad also mikey and richard . feel ok after qualifying with the attempted armed robbery, luv you loads xxxxxxx : )

Sophie Humphryes
Hi Jenson,
Ok,so today’s race wasn’t the result you were hoping for but we know you gave it all you could. It must have been pretty tricky out there today, especially being fed back into traffic after the change of tyres!
Don’t give up on the Championship- just keep believing and watch the others slip up! (and if you need it, take heart that you were able to finish today’s race!)
Still routing for you Jenson- go for it!

I am the mother of a 12 day old baby called Jenson named after Jenson Button. He was diagnosed with a very rare heart defect (only 2 babies born with it a year) and has been in Great Ormond Street Hospital since a few hours after he was born. This brave boy has now endured three lots of open heart surgery. His father and I would love it so much if Jenson Button could come to meet his name sake to give a boost to both our Jenson, us and the amazing staff here at GOSH. They have all been telling us that he came here last month and the nurses are hoping for another visit now that his little namesake is here!!
Please Jenson, take half an hour out of your busy schedual to grant a very sick little baby this wish.
My name is Jonathan Brough, firstly can I say I have found you exciting to watch and have been following your progress throughout your formula 1 career. I specially enjoyed the race in 2009 when you came from the back to win the world championship by taking most of the people in front. I am a massive fan of Motosport and used to race before i became paralyzed. Four years ago I woke up one morning in hospital surrounded by nurses who told me I had contracted meningitis and I was shocked, but thought nothing of it. However, things were far more serious than I had imagined. My spine was swelling, crushing my brain and I had to be rushed into theatre where they operated to save my life. I am extremely lucky to be alive. This resulted in me being paralysed, on a ventilator to breathe, fed through a tube and unable to swallow. At first, all I could do was blink and so the only communication I had was to blink for yes and no. So I could not even ask for simple things like water or ask what happened to me. After 10 days in Calgary hospital intensive care, drifting in and out of consciousness I was flown back to England in an air ambulance and spent 5 months in Gloucester Royal Hospital intensive care where I could move my mouth a bit but still I couldn’t speak. I had trouble breathing, blacking out several times and got used to having nurses standing over me, clearing my chest so the ventilator could bring me air, without this I was unable to breathe. I left the hospital and went to Salisbury Spinal Unit where I got my voice back, which was a massive relief after having months of lip reading and frustration. I was so relieved to be able to speak again and despite it being very difficult I also became able to move my head a bit. After being discharged, I decided to study Media A level and chose to make film to raise awareness of spinal injury because people don’t know anything like enough about it and how it can turn your life upside down in the blink of an eye. My consultant who is spinal injury specialist has recommended an FES exercise bike (Functional Electrical Stimulation) because of many health benefits including circulation and heart rate. Therefore I would appreciate if you could suggest ways in which to fund raise an FES exercise bike, which is really beneficial for people with spinal injury.
Here is the web link for trial I had of an FES exercise bike and my film I produced for the media studies exam.

Hi Jenson, It is time you showed some aggression, if you really want win back to back titles; you would be the only ENGLISH man to do so.You backed off with Alonso at the first corner in Japan, to allow him through, perhaps it is time to push your way through; as they say in the west country “Feint herat never fucjed a pig”. So go get and get the title DO NOT THINK IT WILL ARRIVE, IT WILL NOT.yOU MUST WIN IT AND YOU CAN.jUST BE SUPER SMOOTH AND CONTROLLED AGGRESSION.
bEST OF LUCK
Kelvin
Charlene
Hi jenson good drive 4th place wasn’t a bad position for you although it would have been good if you were on the podium however there’s still a chance of winning the drivers champs and the constructors champs between you and lewis. Personally I think that you should know the car by now so don’t waste any more time trying somthing new just follow your instinct ok and I’m sure you will clear up the last 3 races with a 1,2, for maclaren. All the best for Korea Ill be watching see you then love charlene xxx

I am currently doing my major project, where I must create a game.
I have chosen to base my game on the thrill of driving its self rather than the competiton factor driving.
I am doing a survey to find out what makes a thrilling driving experince.
If it is not to much trouble could you please tell me in your opinon, in as much detail as you can what you feel makes a thrilling driving experince and why it is thrilling, and provide an example of this also what would you invision to be the perfect drive and why it would be the perfect drive please note all factors that u feel even if they are remote to the subject that contribute to a thrilling driving experince.
As well as what makes a bad driving experince and why it is a bad driving experince.
upgrade the speed for your car……be brave….confidence 2010 wrld chmpn…

Dear Sir,
I know that you get a lot of emails and therefore cannot answer them all.
Would it be at all possible for you to sign a painting for a charity called Headway, as I am trying to raise funds for them for all the help that they have given me.
As they helped me through a period of my life after an accident that has left me with a brain injury.
I look forward to hearing from you, good luck for the rest of the season.

Hope the weather doesnt put you off but at least you can get off it quickly if you need to as its only 21 miles round ( a dinky island ).
St Peter Port is beautiful in the summer time, so look forward to it. On the racing i am beating you , that is on Xbox F1 2010!!! Second in the championship so far! I can only dream on racing the real Car.

yOU ARE THE BEST GO JENSON GO BEAT THEM ALL YOU HAVE IT THE RIGHT STUFF
Go Go Jenson STUFF THEM ALL UP YOU ARE THE BEST !!!!!!!!
Hi Jenson,Qauli 4th could be third if Lewis gets a penalty you give those Red Bulls a run no1 on the podium would be a great finish for your last race of the season. GO GO GO
Hi jenson you didn’t do too badly comming in fifth place although it means that you are out of the championship.

Hi Jenson,
Great news to hear you’re all safe and well after the attempted hit.
Sounds like your driver and protection team did superbly to escape.
All the best for the race.
Jenson so glad to here that all of you were untouched and ok again all the best for today’s race keep smiling and stay cool love Charlene xx
Good Luck for the race.
hi jenson, hope you and your dad also mikey and richard . feel ok after qualifying with the attempted armed robbery, luv you loads xxxxxxx : )

Hi jenson what happened out there? I can’t believe you came 12th. I was gutted for you. All I can say is that you may think you only have a small chance of winning so you better take whatever you can from the points left in the next two races. Don’t give up hope now I’m still routing for you to win rain or shine lots of love charlene xx
Hi Jenson,
Ok,so today’s race wasn’t the result you were hoping for but we know you gave it all you could.

We are also raising money for GOSH. Please give generously http://www.justgiving.com/jenson-pledger
Many thanks,
Jenson’s Mummy and Daddy xx
i Jenson,
My name is Jonathan Brough, firstly can I say I have found you exciting to watch and have been following your progress throughout your formula 1 career.

Kelvin
Hi jenson good drive 4th place wasn’t a bad position for you although it would have been good if you were on the podium however there’s still a chance of winning the drivers champs and the constructors champs between you and lewis. Personally I think that you should know the car by now so don’t waste any more time trying somthing new just follow your instinct ok and I’m sure you will clear up the last 3 races with a 1,2, for maclaren. All the best for Korea Ill be watching see you then love charlene xxx

Hi jenson finishing fourth wasn’t too bad but you really will have to prove yourself for the next few remaining races to come you’ll have to step up your game and use a different stratagy when driving ok still believing in you to hold onto your title for 2010 lots of charlene xx
As well as what makes a bad driving experince and why it is a bad driving experince.
please send your answer to nishithsurvey@gmail.com.
thank you very much for your time

Dear Sir,
I know that you get a lot of emails and therefore cannot answer them all.
Would it be at all possible for you to sign a painting for a charity called Headway, as I am trying to raise funds for them for all the help that they have given me.
As they helped me through a period of my life after an accident that has left me with a brain injury.
I look forward to hearing from you, good luck for the rest of the season.
Steve
